What We Do

Model United Nations Prague

Model United Nations Prague is a non-profit organisation based at the University of Economics in Prague, bringing together students of diplomacy, economics and public policy in order to discuss current global issues.

The society is the host of the Prague Model United Nations Conference (PragueMUN) as well as the Prague Model United Nations Crisis Session (MiniMUN).

It is our goal to promote communication, leadership and management skills amongst students both from the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as to create a hub for them to gain new perspectives about international and local issues.

PragueMUN

Prague Model United Nations Conference is the first international model UN conference in the Czech Republic, based at the University of Economics, Prague. Established in 2012 it is a mid-sized conference suitable for MUN rookies as well as experienced delegates. For our efforts the first conference has been awarded the title “Student project of the Year” by the Society for Project Management.

MiniMUN

Prague Model United Nations Crisis Session is a unique project of Model United Nations Prague. It’s goal is to open the MUN platform to less experienced delegates and allow them to learn the basics of debating. The concept involves a one-day session concerning a pressing issue and only a single resolution is allowed to pass. Due to its limited scope and high intensivity we call it MiniMUN!
